In the 3rd minute Gong Ao Guang shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cătălin Ciorbea saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 10th minute the ball was on its way in behind Komikoz FC's goalkeeper Cătălin Ciorbea, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Xaiver Rosende showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lander Calquín in the 17th minute of the match. A collision led to Komikoz FC getting a freekick after 18 minutes play. Corneliu Muncelean hit a great ball. Gong Ao Guang's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Cătălin Ciorbea read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 24th minute of play. The audience was convinced that Gong Ao Guang's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Cătălin Ciorbea was relentless in the 31st minute of the game. Cătălin Ciorbea made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gong Ao Guang in the 36th minute of play. C.A. Peñarol's Xaiver Rosende proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 38th minute of the match, managed to save C.A. Peñarol from getting a goal against them. With a little luck, C.A. Peñarol's Xaiver Rosende got control of the ball when Saul Jatsu tried to sneak it across the goal line. Komikoz FC's Cătălin Ciorbea played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gong Ao Guang in the 42nd minute of play. Xaiver Rosende made an important save on a dangerous shot by Saul Jatsu in the 45th minute. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

Komikoz FC made a substitution. Paulín Abello replaced Lucio Jose María San Roman. 55 minutes into the match, C.A. Peñarol's goal looked a bit too open when Saul Jatsu came free, but Xaiver Rosende reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Corneliu Muncelean made in the 59th minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Ernst Åkesson. Xaiver Rosende made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lander Calquín in the 61st minute of play. The supporters of C.A. Peñarol booed when Komikoz FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 63 match minutes in a wonderful position. Albertinho das Neves didn't get a good kick on the ball. Jimeno Infante struck a weak shot in the 63rd minute. Cătălin Ciorbea didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for C.A. Peñarol. Gong Ao Guang could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 70th minute of the match, but Cătălin Ciorbea made a huge save. In the 74th minute, C.A. Peñarol's Gong Ao Guang dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-1. The crowd rose to their feet as C.A. Peñarol's Gong Ao Guang slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Cătălin Ciorbea. That made the score 0-2 after 78 minutes of play. A hard shot 83 in the game by Gong Ao Guang from a close distance when the talented Cătălin Ciorbea managed to make a qualified save. Komikoz FC's players were relieved. Gong Ao Guang took the ball and in the 93 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Cătălin Ciorbea. Cătălin Ciorbea dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-4. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. C.A. Peñarol had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
