Spectators: 8610 (Terracing: 6458, Seating: 1980, VIP seats: 172) Hugo Guerra started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Spartans FC's Haroldas Strazdas played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Roberto Vildosola in the 3rd minute of play. 6 minutes into the match, Spartans FC's goal looked a bit too open when Concetto Mare came free, but Haroldas Strazdas reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Haroldas Strazdas showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cai Jian Chang in the 9th minute of the match. Haroldas Strazdas came out of the goal in the 11th minute to try and stop a shot by Zorros del Desierto's Dalmacio Osasun. But to his dismay, Dalmacio Osasun quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Concetto Mare blasted a shot towards the goal in the 13th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Haroldas Strazdas having to make a save. 16 minutes into the match, Spartans FC's goal looked a bit too open when Cai Jian Chang came free, but Haroldas Strazdas reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Haroldas Strazdas made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Concetto Mare in the 20th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cai Jian Chang in the 27th minute of play forced Spartans FC's goalkeeper Haroldas Strazdas to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Concetto Mare in the 27th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Haroldas Strazdas saved Spartans FC from getting behind. After 27 minutes, Concetto Mare made it 0-3 with a short kick to the right side. Spartans FC's Haroldas Strazdas tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Clark Kent made a fantastic save in the 34th minute, when Hugo Guerra sent off a good shot on target. After 39 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Zorros del Desierto! Clark Kent had in the 40thth minute some difficulties stopping Oğuzkan Yezid's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. After the first half Zorros del Desierto were leading 0-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Concetto Mare to make the kick off. In the 54th minute, Hugo Guerra got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Haroldas Strazdas made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Roberto Vildosola in the 56th minute of play. Haroldas Strazdas showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Roberto Vildosola, who was totally free with the ball in the 60th minute. Zorros del Desierto made a substitution. Valentin Vrânceanu replaced Dalmacio Osasun. The audience thought a goal was coming when Cai Jian Chang got free with Haroldas Strazdas in the 64th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Cai Jian Chang could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 66th minute of the match, but Haroldas Strazdas made a huge save. Spartans FC's Haroldas Strazdas played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Roberto Vildosola in the 68th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hugo Guerra in the 70th minute of play forced Zorros del Desierto's goalkeeper Clark Kent to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The corner led Spartans FC's Amado Dagorret to fire away a dangerous shot which Clark Kent despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Spartans FC's Edgar San Juan quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Dalmo Ferreira, made in the 81st minute of the game. Haroldas Strazdas made an important save on a dangerous shot by Cai Jian Chang in the 85th minute. A collision led to Zorros del Desierto getting a freekick after 88 minutes play. Dalmo Ferreira hit a great ball. Haroldas Strazdas showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Roberto Vildosola, who was totally free with the ball in the 92nd minute. The supporters of Zorros del Desierto booed when Spartans FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 95 match minutes in a wonderful position. Eugenios Spetsarias didn't get a good kick on the ball. When the final whistle sounded Zorros del Desierto left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Spartans FC.
