After 9 minutes CDU Católica's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Adán Ruz who took care of the corner kick. Vilhelm Vilhelmsson made a great header on U.C.MILÁN's corner, it was just that CDU Católica's Salamón Del Fierro managed to reach the ball for a save. The crowd rose to their feet as U.C.MILÁN's Vilhelm Vilhelmsson slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Salamón Del Fierro. That made the score 1-1 after 15 minutes of play. Salamón Del Fierro made an important save on a dangerous shot by Vilhelm Vilhelmsson in the 20th minute. 22 minutes into the match, CDU Católica's goalkeeper Salamón Del Fierro had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Vilhelm Vilhelmsson. Vilhelm Vilhelmsson received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. The corner led U.C.MILÁN's Severo Aninat to fire away a dangerous shot which Salamón Del Fierro despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. 44 minutes into the match, CDU Católica's goalkeeper Salamón Del Fierro had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Vilhelm Vilhelmsson. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Menéndez Walton made an important save on a dangerous shot by Cristóbal Lataste in the 53rd minute. 56 minutes in the game Zavier Valle did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Leandro Marsal. Cristóbal Lataste could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 57th minute of the match, but Menéndez Walton made a huge save. In the 59th minute, Vilhelm Vilhelmsson left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The U.C.MILÁN fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-1. The U.C.MILÁN fans' excitement grew in the 61st match minute when U.C.MILÁN's Vilhelm Vilhelmsson looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 4-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Salamón Del Fierro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Vilhelm Vilhelmsson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 68 minutes into the game, Cristóbal Lataste recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Menéndez Walton. Cristóbal Lataste showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 4-2. Salamón Del Fierro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Vilhelm Vilhelmsson, who was totally free with the ball in the 71st minute. Orlando Garrido was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 77 minutes into the match. In the 76th minute, one of U.C.MILÁN:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for U.C.MILÁN. 78 minutes into the match, Cristóbal Lataste had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Menéndez Walton. U.C.MILÁN's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Cristóbal Lataste was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 5-3. U.C.MILÁN's Nazario Huici got a good chance for a goal in the 84th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Adán Ruz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Cristóbal Lataste in the 90thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Menéndez Walton, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Zavier Valle kicked well hit freekick during the 96th minute of the match. U.C.MILÁN's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
