Jose Manuel Hernández's late challenge caught a Zorros del Desierto's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Tancredo Manguyague was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Tancredo Manguyague showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Concetto Mare in the 39th minute of the match. 40 minutes had been played when some careless play by Snorlax FC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Cai Jian Chang was slow to take the kick. During this time Zorros del Desierto's players had a chance to rest. Concetto Mare scored 3-0 in the 42nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Tancredo Manguyague, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After 46 played minutes Snorlax FC got a freekick which was hit by Francisco Hernández. In the 47th minute of the match Cai Jian Chang sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Tancredo Manguyague skillfully saved the ball.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Mario Jesus Allu to strike the kick off in the second half. Zorros del Desierto made a substitution. Zenaido Oviedo replaced Emil Kapinos. In the 75thth minute of the game Zebulón Diaz de Andrade who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Zorros del Desierto's Clark Kent was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 82nd minute, Mario Jesus Allu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Tancredo Manguyague showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jonathan Lepe in the 83rd minute of the match. 91 minutes had been played when some careless play by Snorlax FC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Cai Jian Chang was slow to take the kick. During this time Zorros del Desierto's players had a chance to rest. The corner led Zorros del Desierto's Cai Jian Chang to fire away a dangerous shot which Tancredo Manguyague despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Snorlax FC's supporters were dissatisfied at the end of the match because Zorros del Desierto had won, even though Snorlax FC had held more of the ball.
