An unexpectedly hard shot by Miguel Ángel Riesco in the 3rd minute of play forced Club Deportes Santa Cruz's goalkeeper Siluna Hevia to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. CJ Madura made in the 7th minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Remi Manzanal. In the 12th match minute, TurboUC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dušan Tadić to maneuver through the defense. Siluna Hevia didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Miguel Ángel Riesco went, in the 15th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. If Miguel Ángel Riesco had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Siluna Hevia took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Miguel Ángel Riesco, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 24th match minute, Club Deportes Santa Cruz was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by CJ Madura to maneuver through the defense. In the 29th minute the ball was on its way in behind Club Deportes Santa Cruz's goalkeeper Siluna Hevia, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 32nd minute, Fernán Nancupel hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 38 minutes into the match, TurboUC's Miguel Ángel Riesco sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Siluna Hevia narrowly saved just below the crossbar. A well done corner resulted in Allan Schubert drilling the ball in to score 0-3 behind Club Deportes Santa Cruz's goalkeeper. Orlín Rozas showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jaime Rufo in the 47th minute of the match. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-3.

TurboUC made a substitution. Podador Escudero replaced Dušan Tadić. Miguel Ángel Riesco scored 0-4 in the 52nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Siluna Hevia, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Juan González hit a great freekick 55 minutes into the match. Siluna Hevia showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Miguel Ángel Riesco in the 59th minute of the match. Clemencín Varas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 74th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Clemente Barros kicked well hit freekick during the 76th minute of the match. TurboUC's Jaime Pizarro was substituted for Juan Eduardo Atenas. A collision led to Club Deportes Santa Cruz getting a freekick after 77 minutes play. Clemente Barros hit a great ball. Club Deportes Santa Cruz's Siluna Hevia proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 79th minute of the match, managed to save Club Deportes Santa Cruz from getting a goal against them. 81 minutes into the match, Clemencín Varas had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Orlín Rozas. TurboUC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Clemencín Varas was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-5. In the 90th minute Miguel Ángel Riesco shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Siluna Hevia saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Falcão Ramon kicked well hit freekick during the 92nd minute of the match. Clemencín Varas charged in rather forcefully in the 94th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Clemencín Varas the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 94 played minutes Club Deportes Santa Cruz got a freekick which was hit by Clemencín Varas. When the final whistle sounded TurboUC left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Club Deportes Santa Cruz.
