The audience thought a goal was coming when Thalis Papazisis got free with Sun De Ting in the 15th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 19 minutes into the match, Nopoche's goal looked a bit too open when Thalis Papazisis came free, but Sun De Ting reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet as Baez FC's Danilo Zárate slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Sun De Ting. That made the score 1-0 after 20 minutes of play. Nopoche's Sun De Ting played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Danilo Zárate in the 23rd minute of play. Zavier Conde recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 28th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 31 played minutes Nopoche got a freekick which was hit by Gilberto Killinge. If Ruperto Ralondo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Horacio Jesus Carvallo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ambrosius Peelen in the 39th minute of play. When Thalis Papazisis came up free with the goalie in the 41st minute, the Baez FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Thalis Papazisis couldn't finish the play.
