Ermegildo Fazzini might have been able to make a better finish in the 26th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Clemente Savier. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Ermegildo Fazzini ran back to his position shaking his head. 35 minutes into the game, Ermegildo Fazzini cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-1. Clemente Savier was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ermegildo Fazzini in the 39th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Clemente Savier prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 43rd minute of the match, Gabriel Olivar got a very nice opportunity to score, but Tobías Quilempan was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. A collision led to Club Deportes La Serena getting a freekick after 47 minutes play.
