The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. With a little luck, SICARIOS Fútbol Club's Batista Maige got control of the ball when Thomas Cochrane tried to sneak it across the goal line. Ye Wei took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Şensoy Atlıhan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. SICARIOS Fútbol Club's Batista Maige proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 8th minute of the match, managed to save SICARIOS Fútbol Club from getting a goal against them. 10 minutes into the match, SICARIOS Fútbol Club's goal looked a bit too open when Thomas Cochrane came free, but Batista Maige reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 11 minutes into the match, FSX UNITED's goal looked a bit too open when Şensoy Atlıhan came free, but Ye Wei reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 12th match minute, SICARIOS Fútbol Club was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Teddi Duro to maneuver through the defense. If Svend Betz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 14th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The corner led SICARIOS Fútbol Club's Yerko Smart to fire away a dangerous shot which Ye Wei despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Batista Maige made an important save on a dangerous shot by Svend Betz in the 19th minute. 19 minutes into the match, SICARIOS Fútbol Club's goalkeeper Batista Maige had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Evelio Matetich. 22 minutes into the match, FSX UNITED's goal looked a bit too open when Yerko Gold came free, but Ye Wei reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in SICARIOS Fútbol Club's zone, Svend Betz stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Batista Maige came out of the goal and Svend Betz tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Svend Betz got free with Batista Maige in the 27th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Batista Maige didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 33rd minute, which inside left pole to 1-0. FSX UNITED's Ye Wei played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Yerko Gold in the 43rd minute of play. Batista Maige showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Karl-Åke Kvist in the 46th minute of the match. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Yerko Gold was the one to do the kick off. Liu Peng Cheng kicked well hit freekick during the 56th minute of the match. SICARIOS Fútbol Club's Yerko Smart shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 57th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Ye Wei but with some difficulty. In the 58th minute Evelio Matetich shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Batista Maige saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience was convinced that Evelio Matetich's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Batista Maige was relentless in the 58th minute of the game. Batista Maige took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Svend Betz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ye Wei made a fantastic save in the 77th minute, when Yerko Gold sent off a good shot on target. Şensoy Atlıhan recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 83rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Aldo Benvenuto made in the 86th minute of the game a quick throw-in and Marcelo Salas immediately put the ball in play. Batista Maige showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Amancio Baesler, who was totally free with the ball in the 95th minute.
