After 3 played minutes, FSX UNITED's Zebastian Spets shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Héctor Barra came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in FSX UNITED reached it. Thomas Cochrane fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 6th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Héctor Barra having to interfere. After 9 played minutes FSX UNITED got a freekick which was hit by Aldo Benvenuto. An unexpectedly hard shot by Thomas Cochrane in the 15th minute of play forced Capo de Provincia's goalkeeper Héctor Barra to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 20 minutes into the match, Capo de Provincia's goal looked a bit too open when Svend Betz came free, but Héctor Barra reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Svend Betz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 27th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Héctor Barra having to interfere. In the 29th minute, Epifanío Mejia hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Héctor Barra took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Thomas Cochrane, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Svend Betz blasted a shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Héctor Barra having to make a save. In the 37th minute, Alejandro Martxelin got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The audience was convinced that Svend Betz's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Héctor Barra was relentless in the 40th minute of the game. Héctor Barra showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Svend Betz in the 42nd minute of the match. Aldo Benvenuto hit a great ball. In the 54th minute Thomas Cochrane shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Héctor Barra saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Capo de Provincia's Héctor Barra proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 64th minute of the match, managed to save Capo de Provincia from getting a goal against them. Capo de Provincia's David Villa was substituted for Christiano Cabañas. FSX UNITED's Mircea Popilean was substituted for Evelio Matetich. FSX UNITED made a substitution. Amancio Baesler replaced Svend Betz. FSX UNITED were awarded a corner in the 67th minute after Capo de Provincia's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Karl-Åke Kvist took the corner. The corner led to FSX UNITED's Marcelo Salas getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. In the 71st minute the ball was on its way in behind FSX UNITED's goalkeeper Ye Wei, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Héctor Barra showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Zebastian Spets, who was totally free with the ball in the 75th minute. Amancio Baesler sent away a hard shot on goal in the 79th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Thanks to some nice moves Amancio Baesler could shoot a difficult shot in the 95th minute, which Héctor Barra however easily saved by the left post. The Capo de Provincia fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. FSX UNITED were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
