Spectators: 6650 (Terracing: 5440, Seating: 1100, VIP seats: 110) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Ademar Tande started the match with the kick off. When Serginho Nascimento came up free with the goalie in the 6th minute, the Gaviões Atlético Clube fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Serginho Nascimento couldn't finish the play. Giancarlo Dargham kicked well hit freekick during the 8th minute of the match. If Ademar Tande had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 12th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tião Rosa in the 15th minute of play forced Gaviões Atlético Clube's goalkeeper Artur Braga to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 17th minute Tião Rosa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Artur Braga saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Murillo Martins recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 18th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Dadá Toscano scored 1-0 in the 21st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Delfim Negri, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 26 minutes into the match, Gaviões Atlético Clube's goal looked a bit too open when Ademar Tande came free, but Artur Braga reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 28 minutes of play, Tanquinho AD's Ademar Tande made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Artur Braga was left in no man's land by his defense there! Dadá Toscano might have been able to make a better finish in the 33rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Delfim Negri. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Dadá Toscano ran back to his position shaking his head. A collision led to Tanquinho AD getting a freekick after 34 minutes play. In the 38th match minute, Gaviões Atlético Clube was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by João Adolfo Leão to maneuver through the defense. Tião Rosa struck a weak shot in the 41st minute. Artur Braga didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Tanquinho AD. In the 43rdth minute of the game Tião Rosa who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Gaviões Atlético Clube's Artur Braga was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After having played for 44 minutes, Dadá Toscano managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Gaviões Atlético Clube's supporters crossed their fingers, but Dadá Toscano was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Dadá Toscano stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute, Dadá Toscano ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Delfim Negri was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-1. After a rather tough play, Tanquinho AD's Ulysses Trancoso got a free kick in the 59th minute. A collision led to Tanquinho AD getting a freekick after 61 minutes play. João Paulo dos Santos hit a great ball. After having played for 64 minutes, Ademar Tande managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Tanquinho AD's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ademar Tande was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Artur Braga made an important save on a dangerous shot by Tião Rosa in the 70th minute. A collision led to Gaviões Atlético Clube getting a freekick after 79 minutes play. Giancarlo Dargham hit a great ball. In the 80th minute, Ademar Tande got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Tião Rosa could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 82nd minute of the match, but Artur Braga made a huge save. A collision led to Gaviões Atlético Clube getting a freekick after 83 minutes play. Alfredinho Reis hit a great ball. Artur Braga made a fantastic save in the 89th minute, when Tião Rosa sent off a good shot on target. Ademar Tande fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Artur Braga having to interfere. Giancarlo Dargham hit a great freekick 91 minutes into the match. Tanquinho AD's Ademar Tande got a good chance for a goal in the 92nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Tanquinho AD's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
