Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Júlio Sanches took the kick off in the first half of the match. Baviera's Bebeto Perez got a good chance for a goal in the 2nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a rather tough play, Baviera's Cipriano Luz got a free kick in the 9th minute. In the 13th minute, Bebeto Perez got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Bebeto Perez received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 15th minute. Dênis Porto tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 20 minutes of play, SBSfc's Enéas Paulista made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Manoel Matos was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 23rd minute, Vladimir Schmidt hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Júlio Sanches struck a weak shot in the 30th minute. Dênis Porto didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Baviera. The supporters of SBSfc booed when Baviera was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 35 match minutes in a wonderful position. Kaká Koehler didn't get a good kick on the ball. Dênis Porto took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Júlio Sanches, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 46 played minutes SBSfc got a freekick which was hit by Luís Guilherme Arce. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Wellington Mota stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. If Enéas Paulista had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 52nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Enéas Paulista came up free with the goalie in the 59th minute, the SBSfc fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Enéas Paulista couldn't finish the play. In the 60th minute Wellington Mota shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Manoel Matos saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 65 minutes into the match, Baviera's goal looked a bit too open when Wellington Mota came free, but Manoel Matos reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, SBSfc's Cristóvão Hermes got a free kick in the 73rd minute. In the 75th minute the ball was on its way in behind SBSfc's goalkeeper Dênis Porto, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After having played for 79 minutes, Enéas Paulista managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. SBSfc's supporters crossed their fingers, but Enéas Paulista was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 81st minute the ball was on its way in behind Baviera's goalkeeper Manoel Matos, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 83 minutes into the match, Júlio Sanches dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Dênis Porto, 1-1. Cristóvão Hermes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 86th minute. Manoel Matos tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 88 played minutes Baviera got a freekick which was hit by Luís Fabiano Cerezo. With his leg Dênis Porto managed to avoid a goal in the 91stth minute, when Baviera's Bebeto Perez fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Baviera's Júlio Sanches got a good chance for a goal in the 92nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
