Spectators: 6641 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1641, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Juan Domingues took the kick off in the first half of the match. Barroquinha's Arthur de Amorim played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sílvio Luiz da Rocha in the 5th minute of play. In the 7th minute Juan Domingues shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hernani Fonseca saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 8 played minutes Verdejante got a freekick which was hit by Alfredão Ferraz. Tomé Reis hit a great freekick 12 minutes into the match. In the 13th minute Sílvio Luiz da Rocha shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Arthur de Amorim saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Arthur de Amorim showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sílvio Luiz da Rocha, who was totally free with the ball in the 15th minute. In the 18th minute Dedê Meira shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hernani Fonseca saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 20th minute, Thiago de Queirós managed to get in a good position for a shot. Verdejante's supporters rose to their feet, but Thiago de Queirós was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Arthur de Amorim breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 22 minutes into the game, Guilherme da Mata was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Verdejante's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Barroquinha the free kick. Guilherme da Mata hit a great freekick 22 minutes into the match. Hernani Fonseca came out of the goal in the 26th minute to try and stop a shot by Barroquinha's Dedê Meira. But to his dismay, Dedê Meira quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Sílvio Luiz da Rocha sent away a hard shot on goal in the 30th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 36th minute, Guilherme da Mata hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dedê Meira in the 43rd minute of play forced Verdejante's goalkeeper Hernani Fonseca to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Dedê Meira sent away a hard shot on goal in the 44th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.

The wind increased when Sílvio Luiz da Rocha made the kick off in the second half. Sílvio Luiz da Rocha received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 54th minute. Arthur de Amorim tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Barroquinha's Enrique Soeiro got a free kick in the 60th minute. If Thiago de Queirós had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Barroquinha's Arthur de Amorim played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sílvio Luiz da Rocha in the 67th minute of play. After 69 minutes Barroquinha's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Duda Tande who took care of the corner kick. Duda Tande made a great header on Verdejante's corner, it was just that Barroquinha's Arthur de Amorim managed to reach the ball for a save. After a rather tough play, Barroquinha's Ruy Rosado got a free kick in the 71st minute. Sílvio Luiz da Rocha fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 74th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Arthur de Amorim having to interfere. When Verdejante's Thiago de Queirós in the 77th minute got a chance for a shot 77th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Barroquinha's goalie prevented a goal. The crowd rose to their feet as Juan Domingues kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Hernani Fonseca. That made the score 0-2 in the 81 minute of play. Juan Domingues received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 85th minute. Hernani Fonseca tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 90 minutes into the match, Barroquinha's goal looked a bit too open when Thiago de Queirós came free, but Arthur de Amorim reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The Barroquinha supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Barroquinha would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
