The supporters of Fantasy FC booed when Belexas was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 5 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ricardo Velloso didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gustavo Porto in the 15th minute of play forced Belexas's goalkeeper Luiz Fernando Torres to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Chicão Paraense had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a little luck, Fantasy FC's Túlio Sarmento got control of the ball when Almir Azevedo tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 24th minute Hugo Salgado shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Túlio Sarmento saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 33rd minute, Reinaldo Guerra hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The crowd rose to their feet as Hugo Salgado kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Túlio Sarmento. That made the score 2-0 in the 35 minute of play. In the 38th minute, Gustavo Porto got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When Gustavo Porto came up free with the goalie in the 41st minute, the Fantasy FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gustavo Porto couldn't finish the play. If Chicão Paraense had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Washington de Amorim hit a great freekick 45 minutes into the match.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Gustavo Porto stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The audience thought a goal was coming when Gustavo Porto got free with Luiz Fernando Torres in the 53rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. If Gustavo Porto had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Gustavo Porto could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 58th minute of the match, but Luiz Fernando Torres made a huge save. After 62 minutes, Ricardo Velloso mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Belexas and the Fantasy FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 62nd match minute, Belexas was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ricardo Velloso to maneuver through the defense. Chicão Paraense fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 66th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Luiz Fernando Torres having to interfere. A sloppy throw-in by Sílvio Paiva in the 76th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Fantasy FC's César Pontes. Sandro de Toledo kicked well hit freekick during the 79th minute of the match. Túlio Sarmento made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Reinaldo Guerra in the 82nd minute of play. 91 minutes into the match, Fantasy FC's goal looked a bit too open when Reinaldo Guerra came free, but Túlio Sarmento reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 91 played minutes Fantasy FC got a freekick which was hit by Luisinho Lopes. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Washington de Amorim during the 94th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Washington de Amorim hit a great freekick 94 minutes into the match. José Pedro Mendes recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 95th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. César Pontes kicked well hit freekick during the 97th minute of the match. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Belexas had won after a very even match.
