After 16 minutes, Doriva Soeiro mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Camapuan and the Teotonio EC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Doriva Soeiro kicked well hit freekick during the 16th minute of the match. Teotonio EC's Marcel Cruz proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 18th minute of the match, managed to save Teotonio EC from getting a goal against them. In the 20th match minute, Camapuan was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Albertino Varela to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Agenor Lima in the 21st minute of play forced Camapuan's goalkeeper Dário Moraes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 24th minute Eusébio Teixeira shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dário Moraes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The corner led Teotonio EC's Agenor Lima to fire away a dangerous shot which Dário Moraes despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. 29 minutes into the match, Teotonio EC's goalkeeper Marcel Cruz had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Yan Arantes. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eusébio Teixeira in the 33rd minute of play forced Camapuan's goalkeeper Dário Moraes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Dário Moraes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ronaldinho Lucas in the 34th minute of play. A collision led to Camapuan getting a freekick after 35 minutes play. The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Nelson Correia to strike the kick off in the second half. Marcel Cruz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 71st match minute, Teotonio EC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Marcelo Massa to maneuver through the defense. Ronaldinho Lucas charged in rather forcefully in the 74th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ronaldinho Lucas the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play.
