Spectators: 6657 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1657, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Norberto Breckenfeld fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 11th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dorian Sarmento having to interfere. Wellington Queirós showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Patrício Lopes, who was totally free with the ball in the 15th minute. When Otávio de Amaral fell near the penalty area in the 19th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored CEARA MANIACOS's protests and gave Otávio de Amaral a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, CEARA MANIACOS's Otávio de Amaral got a free kick in the 19th minute. 21 minutes into the match, Algodoes EC's Franklin Amorim sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Dorian Sarmento narrowly saved just below the crossbar. If Franklin Amorim had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Júnior Almeida might have been able to make a better finish in the 38th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Wellington Queirós. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Júnior Almeida ran back to his position shaking his head. Norberto Breckenfeld recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 43rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Norberto Breckenfeld made a kick off. Patrício Lopess short, quick shot in the 52ndth minute got Wellington Queirós to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Dorian Sarmento showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Franklin Amorim in the 54th minute of the match. After 57 played minutes Algodoes EC got a freekick which was hit by Osvaldo Mattos. In the 63rd minute, Jano do Valle left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The CEARA MANIACOS fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-2. After 66 minutes of play, Algodoes EC's Eriberto Bezerra made it 2-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Dorian Sarmento was left in no man's land by his defense there! Wellington Queirós showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Patrício Lopes in the 70th minute of the match. In the 73rd match minute, CEARA MANIACOS was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jerônimo Schmidt to maneuver through the defense. A hard shot 83 in the game by Patrício Lopes from a close distance when the talented Wellington Queirós managed to make a qualified save. Algodoes EC's players were relieved. Algodoes EC's Wellington Queirós played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jerônimo Schmidt in the 84th minute of play. Patrício Lopes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 85th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Wellington Queirós was a little too slow when Serafim Matorin got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 87th minute. The score was now 2-3. When Patrício Lopes came up free with the goalie in the 91st minute, the CEARA MANIACOS fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Patrício Lopes couldn't finish the play. Jerônimo Schmidt's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 92ndth minute, Wellington Queirós skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. CEARA MANIACOS's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
