Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Amauri Recife got the match started through his kick off. With a little luck, Codozinho's Luisinho Leite got control of the ball when Júnior Valadares tried to sneak it across the goal line. Cauan Mineiro kicked well hit freekick during the 20th minute of the match. In the 22nd match minute, Codozinho was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Virgílio de Mendonça to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by William Tavares in the 26th minute of play forced Cachimbos's goalkeeper José Vítor Meira to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 45th minute, Cachimbos's Amauri Recife dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-1. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.
