In the 3rd match minute, Luverdense Esporte Clube was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cafu Lira to maneuver through the defense. In the 4th minute, Luizinho Marinho sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Luverdense Esporte Clube's Vivaldo Barros didn't even have to move. Luverdense Esporte Clube's Vivaldo Barros proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 6th minute of the match, managed to save Luverdense Esporte Clube from getting a goal against them. When Gilvan Vasconcelos came up free with the goalie in the 32nd minute, the Luverdense Esporte Clube fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gilvan Vasconcelos couldn't finish the play. Luverdense Esporte Clube's Celsinho de Moraes got a good chance for a goal in the 34th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Luverdense Esporte Clube's Vivaldo Barros played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Adalberto Romero in the 40th minute of play. EdTeam's Jerônimo Abreu got a good chance for a goal in the 41st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Jerônimo Abreu was the one to do the kick off. Vivaldo Barros made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Adalberto Romero in the 52nd minute of play. In the 54th minute, Adalberto Romero made a precise shot to the right of Vivaldo Barros. Luverdense Esporte Clube's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-0. Fernando Souza charged in rather forcefully in the 58th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Fernando Souza the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Luizinho Marinho placed the ball on the penalty spot and got himself ready to shoot. Post out! Acácio Lago fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 61st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Vivaldo Barros having to interfere. Vivaldo Barros didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when EdTeam's Adalberto Romero shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 3-0 in the ordered_time% minute. If Adalberto Romero had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 68th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience thought a goal was coming when Celsinho de Moraes got free with Manuel Paraibano in the 71st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Adalberto Romero blasted a shot towards the goal in the 74th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Vivaldo Barros having to make a save. In the 78th minute, Luverdense Esporte Clube's Celsinho de Moraes ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Manuel Paraibano. Manuel Paraibano yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 3-1. Murilo Branco sent away a hard shot on goal in the 82nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Celsinho de Moraes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Manuel Paraibano having to interfere. Manuel Paraibano didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Celsinho de Moraes went, in the 95th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-2 was the resulting score. After 97 minutes, Celsinho de Moraes mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Luverdense Esporte Clube and the EdTeam players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Luverdense Esporte Clube getting a freekick after 97 minutes play. Celsinho de Moraes hit a great ball. EdTeam were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Luverdense Esporte Clube for a fine match.
