Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Jerônimo Abreu got the match started through his kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Andrézinho Goiano in the 3rd minute of play forced EdTeam's goalkeeper Manuel Paraibano to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 7 minutes into the match, EdTeam's goal looked a bit too open when Luiz Guilherme Cosme came free, but Manuel Paraibano reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Acácio Lago fell near the penalty area in the 7th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored EdTeam's protests and gave Acácio Lago a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, EdTeam's Acácio Lago got a free kick in the 7th minute. Manuel Paraibano took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Genílson Costa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Manuel Paraibano made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Frédson Corrêa in the 10th minute of play. EdTeam's Manuel Paraibano played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Luiz Guilherme Cosme in the 15th minute of play. Manuel Paraibano showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Genílson Costa, who was totally free with the ball in the 16th minute. After 18th play minutes Jerônimo Abreu shot 1-0, a short shot which went by Zé Carlos Camargo and just under the crossbar into goal. Zé Carlos Camargo made an important save on a dangerous shot by Jerônimo Abreu in the 22nd minute. In the 24th minute, Jerônimo Abreu made a precise shot to the right of Zé Carlos Camargo. Cazuqui's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-0. In the 28th minute Luiz Guilherme Cosme shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Manuel Paraibano saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Adalberto Romero struck a weak shot in the 30th minute. Zé Carlos Camargo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for EdTeam. In the 37th minute Luiz Guilherme Cosme shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Manuel Paraibano saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 40th minute Genílson Costa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Manuel Paraibano saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 41st minute the ball was on its way in behind Cazuqui's goalkeeper Zé Carlos Camargo, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 43 minutes into the game, Frédson Corrêa was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Cazuqui's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave EdTeam the free kick. In the 43rd minute, Frédson Corrêa hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 47th minute, Luiz Guilherme Cosme ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Manuel Paraibano was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-1. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-1.

Manuel Paraibano made an important save on a dangerous shot by Genílson Costa in the 53rd minute. In the 53rd match minute, Cazuqui was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dieguinho Pires to maneuver through the defense. Dieguinho Pires kicked well hit freekick during the 55th minute of the match. 61 minutes into the match, Jerônimo Abreu had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Zé Carlos Camargo. Cazuqui's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Jerônimo Abreu was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-1. Manuel Paraibano showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Luiz Guilherme Cosme in the 65th minute of the match. Genílson Costa in the 66thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Manuel Paraibano, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. In the 67th minute of the match, Andrézinho Goiano tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Manuel Paraibano saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. After 69 minutes of play, EdTeam's Jerônimo Abreu made it 4-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Zé Carlos Camargo was left in no man's land by his defense there! Zé Carlos Camargo came out of the goal in the 75th minute to try and stop a shot by EdTeam's Adalberto Romero. But to his dismay, Adalberto Romero quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 5-1. Cazuqui's Frédson Corrêa got his second yellow card of the match in the 79th minute. The referee ordered Frédson Corrêa off the ground. 83 minutes into the game, Enio de Amorim was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Cazuqui's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave EdTeam the free kick. The supporters of EdTeam booed when Cazuqui was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 83 match minutes in a wonderful position. Enio de Amorim didn't get a good kick on the ball. Luizinho Marinho took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 84th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Zé Carlos Camargo. Cazuqui's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Jerônimo Abreu recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 89th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Cazuqui's Zé Carlos Camargo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jerônimo Abreu in the 92nd minute of play. After having played for 95 minutes, Jerônimo Abreu managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. EdTeam's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jerônimo Abreu was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal.
