After the first half Queda AD were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Ediberto Matos was the one to do the kick off. Celsinho de Moraes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 52nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 54 minutes into the match, Luciano Maia dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Vivaldo Barros, 0-2. Queda AD's Breno Cerezo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Celsinho de Moraes in the 92nd minute of play. In the 94th match minute, Queda AD was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Luciano Maia to maneuver through the defense. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Queda AD eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
