After having played for 8 minutes, Almir Montenegro managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ananas's supporters crossed their fingers, but Almir Montenegro was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Arnaldo Antunes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 13th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Horácio Cavalcante having to interfere. In the 14th minute Osmar Luz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Horácio Cavalcante saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Horácio Cavalcante made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Osmar Luz in the 17th minute of play. In the 18th minute Cícero Queirós shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Horácio Cavalcante saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Horácio Cavalcante made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-3. Horácio Cavalcante took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Arnaldo Antunes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Frédson Lara made an important save on a dangerous shot by Alfredo Penha in the 48th minute. Disappointed in the 0-3 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Arnaldo Antunes made a kick off. 53 minutes into the match, Osmar Luz dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Horácio Cavalcante, 0-4. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Zé Augusto Schmidt during the 56th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 57th match minute, Ananas was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Zé Augusto Schmidt to maneuver through the defense. The supporters of PIRITUBA 4EVER booed when Ananas was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 82 match minutes in a wonderful position. Amadeu Baiano didn't get a good kick on the ball. Horácio Cavalcante took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Guilherme do Valle, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 85 minutes of play, PIRITUBA 4EVER's Arnaldo Antunes made it 1-5 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Horácio Cavalcante was left in no man's land by his defense there! Horácio Cavalcante came out of the goal in the 89th minute to try and stop a shot by PIRITUBA 4EVER's Arnaldo Antunes. But to his dismay, Arnaldo Antunes quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-6. Through an outstanding action, after 92 minutes, Horácio Cavalcante successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Osmar Luz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 94th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Horácio Cavalcante showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Guilherme do Valle in the 97th minute of the match. PIRITUBA 4EVER played a much better game than Ananas and deserved their victory. The Ananas players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
