In the 21st minute, Izar Sirvent got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Izar Sirvent recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 24th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Arlindo Branco prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 36 minutes into the match, Aristide Boia had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Arlindo Branco. Liberdade EC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Aristide Boia was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. If Aristide Boia had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Arlindo Branco showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Izar Sirvent, who was totally free with the ball in the 42nd minute. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Aristide Boia in the 89th minute of play forced Liberdade EC's goalkeeper Arlindo Branco to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 96th minute, Marcelo Padilla managed to get in a good position for a shot. time fc's supporters rose to their feet, but Marcelo Padilla was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Arlindo Branco breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. time fc walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
