Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Blessed's Carlinhos Paes started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Edmílson Souza made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Giuseppe Moreira in the 4th minute of play. When Mané Rosa came up free with the goalie in the 14th minute, the Blessed fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Mané Rosa couldn't finish the play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Carlinhos Paes in the 15th minute of play forced MERCOPLASA F.C's goalkeeper Adelino Gaspar to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Giuseppe Moreira had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Adelino Gaspar made a fantastic save in the 25th minute, when Mané Rosa sent off a good shot on target. 27 minutes into the game, Ernani Silva was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Blessed's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave MERCOPLASA F.C the free kick. After 28 played minutes Blessed got a freekick which was hit by Ernani Silva. After having played for 29 minutes, Mané Rosa managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Blessed's supporters crossed their fingers, but Mané Rosa was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 32nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Blessed's goalkeeper Edmílson Souza, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 42nd minute of the match, Mané Rosa got a very nice opportunity to score, but Adelino Gaspar was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Adelino Gaspar showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Carlinhos Paes, who was totally free with the ball in the 44th minute. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Zeca Neves made a kick off. In the 54th minute, Zé Carlos Pernambucano hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Carlinhos Paes scored 2-1 in the 57th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Adelino Gaspar, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. MERCOPLASA F.C's Adelino Gaspar played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mané Rosa in the 62nd minute of play. 63 minutes into the match, Blessed's Carlinhos Paes sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Adelino Gaspar narrowly saved just below the crossbar. If Carlinhos Paes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Mané Rosa might have been able to make a better finish in the 70th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Adelino Gaspar. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Mané Rosa ran back to his position shaking his head. Mané Rosa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 74th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Mané Rosa recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 81st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Mané Rosa took the ball and in the 83 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Adelino Gaspar. Adelino Gaspar dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-1. Adelino Gaspar made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mané Rosa in the 89th minute of play. Ernani Silva was shown his second yellow card after 93 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. After 93 played minutes Blessed got a freekick which was hit by Ernani Silva. After 98 minutes, Kauan da Silveira mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Blessed and the MERCOPLASA F.C players grew even worse after the yellow card. Kauan da Silveira kicked well hit freekick during the 98th minute of the match. In the 99th minute of the match Maurício Vale sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Edmílson Souza skillfully saved the ball. There was no doubt that Blessed were the better team. Blessed's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
