Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Herminio Txordon kicked off to start the match. A very good chance. 13 minutes into the match, São Paulo's goal looked a bit too open when Ramiro Mangueira came free, but Zé Paulo Costa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Vítor Mesquita showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Milosz Chlapowski, who was totally free with the ball in the 16th minute. In the 19th match minute, Ibitira was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ramiro Mangueira to maneuver through the defense. Adalberto Costa hit a great freekick 23 minutes into the match. After 25 played minutes São Paulo got a freekick which was hit by Ciro Simão. Zé Paulo Costa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Basílio Sanches, who was totally free with the ball in the 26th minute. Pedro Augusto Oliveira charged in rather forcefully in the 28th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Pedro Augusto Oliveira the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Pedro Augusto Oliveira kicked well hit freekick during the 28th minute of the match. A hard shot by Basílio Sanches from long distance, 29 minutes into the match, got Zé Paulo Costa's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. In the 34th minute, Ramiro Mangueira left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. Vítor Mesquita made a fantastic save in the 53rd minute, when Pablo Derwin sent off a good shot on target. Ciro Simão lost his temper 55 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. In the 55th minute, one of São Paulo:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for São Paulo. Cido Freitas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 60th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Zé Paulo Costa having to interfere. In the 61st minute, Pedro Augusto Oliveira hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Vítor Mesquita showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Herminio Txordon in the 64th minute of the match. Milosz Chlapowski was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 65th minute. São Paulo's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by José Pedro Cardozo during the 71st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Herminio Txordon fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 73rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Vítor Mesquita having to interfere. An unexpected shot in the 75th minute by Milosz Chlapowski got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Zé Paulo Costa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ramiro Mangueira in the 79th minute of play. Vítor Mesquita was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Milosz Chlapowski showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-2 in the 81 minute of play. Ramiro Mangueira took the ball and in the 84 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Zé Paulo Costa. Zé Paulo Costa dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-2. Zé Paulo Costa stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ramiro Mangueira's shot from short distance in the 87th minute. Zé Paulo Costa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cido Freitas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 91 played minutes, Ibitira's Luís Paulo Alagoano shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Zé Paulo Costa came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Ibitira reached it. Herminio Txordon recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 95th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Milosz Chlapowski fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 96th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Vítor Mesquita having to interfere. São Paulo's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
