Dida Neiva succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 2-1 in the 36th playminute. André Luiz Paraíba received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 41st minute. Joaquim da Fonseca tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Duda Queiroz was the one to do the kick off. 52 minutes into the match, Jaupaci EC's goal looked a bit too open when Dida Neiva came free, but Orlando Reis reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jaupaci EC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Andrézinho Cabral in the 78th minute. The corner led to Jaupaci EC's Luiz Guilherme Senna getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. A collision led to Berimboulou´s getting a freekick after 83 minutes play. Osvaldo Mello hit a great ball. 84 minutes into the match, Hamílton Zanette had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Joaquim da Fonseca. Berimboulou´s's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Hamílton Zanette was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-4. André Luiz Paraíba recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 90th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Hamílton Zanette had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
