The Ulbio AD fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Tiago Arósio should have stopped the shot. 1-1 became the score in the 23rd minute when Mathias Ferreira elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. After some fancy dribbling in the 26th minute, Ismael Rosa managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ulbio AD's supporters rose to their feet, but Ismael Rosa was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Maurício Ortiz breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 28 played minutes Ulbio AD got a freekick which was hit by Henrique Figueiredo. Rimbika's Maurício Ortiz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mathias Ferreira in the 30th minute of play. An unexpected shot in the 33rd minute by Ismael Rosa got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. After some fancy dribbling in the 39th minute, Mathias Ferreira managed to get in a good position for a shot. Maurício Ortiz breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. A hard shot by Raimundo de Mendonça from long distance, 42 minutes into the match, got Maurício Ortiz's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. Rimbika's Maurício Ortiz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mathias Ferreira in the 45th minute of play. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The wind increased when Breno Sousa made the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Breno Sousa in the 59th minute of play forced Ulbio AD's goalkeeper Tiago Arósio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 65th minute of the match Ciro Pontes shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Maurício Ortiz showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Rimbika's Maurício Ortiz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mathias Ferreira in the 67th minute of play. Maurício Ortiz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ismael Rosa, who was totally free with the ball in the 69th minute. In the 73rd minute, Mathias Ferreira ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Maurício Ortiz was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-1. When Ismael Rosa came up free with the goalie in the 77th minute, the Ulbio AD fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ismael Rosa couldn't finish the play. Ismael Rosa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 79th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Maurício Ortiz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mathias Ferreira in the 81st minute of play. Ismael Rosa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Maurício Ortiz having to interfere. 85 minutes into the match, Rimbika's goal looked a bit too open when Mathias Ferreira came free, but Maurício Ortiz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Tiago Arósio made an important save on a dangerous shot by Washington Mendes in the 89th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Rimbika's zone, Ismael Rosa stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Maurício Ortiz came out of the goal and Ismael Rosa tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 96th match minute, Rimbika was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Carlos Eduardo Dantas to maneuver through the defense. Ulbio AD were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Rimbika for a fine match.
