The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Matheus Ribeiro showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. 13 minutes into the game, Adam King cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Matheus Ribeiro was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Gerson de Souza hit a great freekick 18 minutes into the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Marcus Damião got free with Sérgio Ramalho in the 22nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Marcus Damião in the 55th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Sérgio Ramalho saved Gold Star Two from getting behind. Raí Toledo charged in rather forcefully in the 55th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Raí Toledo the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Raí Toledo hit a great freekick 55 minutes into the match. A collision led to Gold Star Two getting a freekick after 60 minutes play. Rafael Soares hit a great ball. The supporters of Mosqueteiros SCMP booed when Gold Star Two was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 61 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rafael Soares didn't get a good kick on the ball. 64 minutes into the match, Gold Star Two's Rafael Soares sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Matheus Ribeiro narrowly saved just below the crossbar.
