Laércio Martins showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Agostinho Santos in the 15th minute of the match. Bravo EC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Bernardinho Toledo in the 16th minute. In the 26th minute, Bernardinho Toledo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Zeca Pirani in the 31st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Laércio Martins saved Urucuzeiro from getting behind. In the 31st match minute, Urucuzeiro was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dênis Cunha to maneuver through the defense. Agostinho Santos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 33rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 38 minutes into the match, Bravo EC's goal looked a bit too open when Eriberto Prata came free, but Yuri de Alcântara reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Yuri de Alcântara made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ian Abreu in the 45th minute. Dênis Cunha hit a great freekick 46 minutes into the match. The Urucuzeiro players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Bravo EC were winning 0-1.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Agostinho Santos made a kick off. After some fancy dribbling in the 58th minute, Agostinho Santos managed to get in a good position for a shot. Bravo EC's supporters rose to their feet, but Agostinho Santos was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Laércio Martins breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After some careless play in the Urucuzeiro defense, Zeca Pirani kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Laércio Martins. The Urucuzeiro fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Laércio Martins should have stopped the shot. Urucuzeiro's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Agostinho Santos 67 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 0-3. Ian Abreu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 91st minute. Yuri de Alcântara tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ramón Salgado charged in rather forcefully in the 94th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ramón Salgado the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 95 played minutes Urucuzeiro got a freekick which was hit by Ramón Salgado. The Urucuzeiro supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Bravo EC's performance. The match ended with a win for Bravo EC.
