Luís Fabiano Quadros made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. In the 11th minute, Cristiano Baptista hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Pirizal SC's Leandro Koehler played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sidnei Proença in the 18th minute of play. Mariante's Luís Fabiano Quadros played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Otávio Correia in the 20th minute of play. Luís Fabiano Quadros took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Arnaldo Rosa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Jonathan Menendo in the 24thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Luís Fabiano Quadros, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Igor Carvalho was the one to do the kick off. In the 53rd minute Igor Carvalho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Leandro Koehler saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 60 minutes of play, Pirizal SC's Jonathan Menendo made it 4-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Luís Fabiano Quadros was left in no man's land by his defense there! If Jonathan Menendo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 69th minute Elói Galvão shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Luís Fabiano Quadros saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Luís Fabiano Quadros stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Arnaldo Rosa's shot from short distance in the 75th minute. Igor Carvalho received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 77th minute. Leandro Koehler tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to Mariante getting a freekick after 79 minutes play. Natanael Tróia hit a great ball. Pirizal SC's Otávio Correia got a good chance for a goal in the 83rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 85th match minute, Mariante was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Natanael Tróia to maneuver through the defense. In the 87th minute, Arnaldo Rosa ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Luís Fabiano Quadros was frozen by the shot and now it was 5-0. 91 minutes into the match, Otávio Correia had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Luís Fabiano Quadros. Mariante's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Otávio Correia was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 6-0. In the 97th minute, Arnaldo Rosa ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Luís Fabiano Quadros was frozen by the shot and now it was 7-0. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Pirizal SC fully deserved thier win.
