Ulysses Alvarenga received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 6th minute. Eusébio Moreno tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The audience was convinced that Ulysses Alvarenga's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Eusébio Moreno was relentless in the 9th minute of the game. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ulysses Alvarenga in the 12th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Eusébio Moreno prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 14 played minutes BAMOR FC got a freekick which was hit by Rodolfo Gomes. In the 15th minute of the match Gualter Ferraz sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Eusébio Moreno skillfully saved the ball. After some careless play in the BAMOR FC defense, Chico de Mendonça kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Eusébio Moreno. The BAMOR FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Eusébio Moreno should have stopped the shot. Eusébio Moreno took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ulysses Alvarenga, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 39th minute Chico de Mendonça shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eusébio Moreno saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Rucinho's Chico de Mendonça in the 41st minute got a chance for a shot 41st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye BAMOR FC's goalie prevented a goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Chico de Mendonça in the 46th minute of play forced BAMOR FC's goalkeeper Eusébio Moreno to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.

Chico de Mendonça fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 51st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eusébio Moreno having to interfere. Rodolfo Gomes got his second yellow card in the match during the 53rd minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. Dênis Amorim's late challenge caught a BAMOR FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Dênis Amorim helped the player get up and apologised. After 58 played minutes Rucinho got a freekick which was hit by Dênis Amorim. BAMOR FC's Eusébio Moreno played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ulysses Alvarenga in the 60th minute of play. After 61 played minutes Rucinho got a freekick which was hit by Luís Guilherme Pires. If Chico de Mendonça had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 70th minute, Flávio Trancoso made a precise shot to the right of Alexandre Palmeira. Rucinho's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. Hílton Mota hit a great freekick 76 minutes into the match. Flávio Trancoso blasted a shot towards the goal in the 80th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Alexandre Palmeira having to make a save. When Chicão Brodel fell near the penalty area in the 82nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Rucinho's protests and gave Chicão Brodel a yellow card for diving instead. Chicão Brodel hit a great freekick 82 minutes into the match. In the 89th minute, Ulysses Alvarenga got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 95th minute, Chico de Mendonça left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Rucinho fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-2. When the match was over Rucinho could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than BAMOR FC throughout the match.
