After a defensive mix-up in Baiepau's zone, Arí Britto stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Tadeu Salgado came out of the goal and Arí Britto tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The supporters of Baiepau booed when Pumpkins was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 85 match minutes in a wonderful position. Aírton Senna didn't get a good kick on the ball. 88 minutes into the match, Baiepau's goal looked a bit too open when Manuel Paulista came free, but Tadeu Salgado reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 88 minutes into the match, Pumpkins's Arí Britto sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Tadeu Salgado narrowly saved just below the crossbar.
