In the 2nd minute Alfredão Garcia shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Teodoro Arósio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Gilberto Zanette might have been able to make a better finish in the 12th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Noel Garcia. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Gilberto Zanette ran back to his position shaking his head. Fernando Paes's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Noel Garcia read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 16th minute of play. Fernando Paes might have been able to make a better finish in the 21st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Noel Garcia. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Fernando Paes ran back to his position shaking his head. Noel Garcia showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fernando Paes in the 22nd minute of the match. Fernando Paes had several of the S.C The Danados F.C's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 26 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 2-0 score and a disappointed Noel Garcia as he didn't even see the shot coming. A hard shot by Kiko Carioca from long distance, 30 minutes into the match, got Noel Garcia's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. Gilberto Zanette in the 31stth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Noel Garcia, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. After having played for 33 minutes, Gilberto Zanette managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Capipi's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gilberto Zanette was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fernando Paes in the 34th minute of play forced S.C The Danados F.C's goalkeeper Noel Garcia to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Noel Garcia didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Gilberto Zanette went, in the 37th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-0 was the resulting score.

The wind increased when Alfredão Garcia made the kick off in the second half. Fernando Paes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 54th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fernando Paes in the 56th minute of play forced S.C The Danados F.C's goalkeeper Noel Garcia to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 60 minutes into the match, Jorge Cunha had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Teodoro Arósio. Capipi's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Jorge Cunha was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-1. When Lino Campidelis came up free with the goalie in the 68th minute, the Capipi fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Lino Campidelis couldn't finish the play. Gilberto Zanette sent away a hard shot on goal in the 69th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a defensive mix-up in S.C The Danados F.C's zone, Fernando Paes stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Noel Garcia came out of the goal and Fernando Paes tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Lino Campidelis kicked well hit freekick during the 77th minute of the match. Lino Campidelis was shown his second yellow card after 79 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. In the 80th match minute, Capipi was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lino Campidelis to maneuver through the defense. After a rather tough play, Capipi's Claudinei Corrêa got a free kick in the 83rd minute. After a defensive mix-up in S.C The Danados F.C's zone, Fernando Paes stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Noel Garcia came out of the goal and Fernando Paes tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Gilberto Zanette had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the referee ended the match the Capipi players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
