When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Rogério Carvalho made a kick off. After a defensive mix-up in Juventina's zone, Amílton Santos stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Eliseu Costa came out of the goal and Amílton Santos tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. José Carlos Ferraz struck a weak shot in the 59th minute. Eliseu Costa didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Real Floripa. José Carlos Ferraz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 65th minute. Eliseu Costa tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Paulão Guerra kicked well hit freekick during the 66th minute of the match. In the 67th minute, Valério Aguiar sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Juventina's Eliseu Costa didn't even have to move. If Rogério Carvalho had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 70th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
