An unexpectedly hard shot by Ariel Valiente in the 23rd minute of play forced Cerco EC's goalkeeper Sandro Rosa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Sandro Rosa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ariel Valiente in the 26th minute of play. Cerco EC's Sandro Rosa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ariel Valiente in the 28th minute of play. In the 32nd minute, Alfredão Perez made a precise shot to the right of Murilo Coutinho. Là Cllava's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. 38 minutes into the match, Cerco EC's goalkeeper Sandro Rosa had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Renato Alcântara. Renato Alcântara fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sandro Rosa having to interfere. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Ariel Valiente stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 54th match minute, Là Cllava was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Oséas Soeiro to maneuver through the defense. 55 minutes into the match, Là Cllava's goalkeeper Murilo Coutinho had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Filip Malicki. After having played for 66 minutes, Renato Alcântara managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Là Cllava's supporters crossed their fingers, but Renato Alcântara was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Sandro Rosa tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to Cerco EC getting a freekick after 94 minutes play. Virgílio Dantas hit a great ball. Cerco EC succeeded in salvaging a draw, even though Là Cllava had controlled the match.
