Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Giovanni Lucas made the kick off and thus started the match. The supporters of Amianto EC booed when Capitoa was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 3 match minutes in a wonderful position. Richard Hermes didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 14th minute, Kléber Sena ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Caco Barros was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Caco Barros took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nestor Trevisan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 27th minute Kléber Sena shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Caco Barros saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Kléber Sena recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 38th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 40th minute the ball was on its way in behind Capitoa's goalkeeper Caco Barros, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 46th minute, Kléber Sena got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. With a little luck, Amianto EC's Erivaldo de Amorim got control of the ball when Sílvio Luís Guimarães tried to sneak it across the goal line. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Nestor Trevisan was the one to do the kick off. An unexpected shot in the 52nd minute by Agnaldo Machado got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Leopoldo Prata hit a great freekick 54 minutes into the match. Alfredo Furlan was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 55th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Caco Barros took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nestor Trevisan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Amianto EC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Alfredo Furlan in the 61st minute. Alfredo Furlan made a great header on Amianto EC's corner, it was just that Capitoa's Caco Barros managed to reach the ball for a save. Nestor Trevisan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 63rd minute. Caco Barros tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Kléber Sena sent away a hard shot on goal in the 70th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpected shot in the 74th minute by Nestor Trevisan got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. If Giovanni Lucas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Nestor Trevisan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 80th minute. Caco Barros tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 81 minutes into the match, Kléber Sena had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Caco Barros. Capitoa's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Kléber Sena was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-2. Erivaldo de Amorim came out of the goal in the 88th minute to try and stop a shot by Capitoa's Giovanni Lucas. But to his dismay, Giovanni Lucas quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-2. Capitoa's Giovanni Lucas got a good chance for a goal in the 90th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Agnaldo Machado took the ball and in the 93 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Caco Barros. Caco Barros dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-3. Amianto EC played a much better game than Capitoa and deserved their victory. The Capitoa players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
