In the 14th minute Oswaldo Lima shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rogério Valle saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Oswaldo Lima had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Oswaldo Lima struck a weak shot in the 20th minute. Rogério Valle didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Aldeia. Percy de Queiroz ran back to his position shaking his head. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Oswaldo Lima stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 53rd minute, Hélio Seco got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Camarajibe's zone, Hélio Seco stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Rogério Valle came out of the goal and Hélio Seco tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Hélio Seco had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 67 minutes, Oswaldo Lima mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Aldeia and the Camarajibe players grew even worse after the yellow card. 69 minutes into the game, Dorian Lira was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Aldeia's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Camarajibe the free kick. The referee gave Camarajibe a penalty, 71 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Gilson Leite, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Aldeia's Luís Almeida. 0-1. José Augusto Cavalcante kicked well hit freekick during the 74th minute of the match. Felippe Aguiar's late challenge caught a Aldeia's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Felippe Aguiar helped the player get up and apologised. After 79 played minutes Camarajibe got a freekick which was hit by Felippe Aguiar. Oswaldo Lima took the ball and in the 81 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Rogério Valle. Rogério Valle dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. 85 minutes into the match, Camarajibe's goal looked a bit too open when Oswaldo Lima came free, but Rogério Valle reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some careless play in the Camarajibe defense, Hélio Seco kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Rogério Valle. The Camarajibe fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Rogério Valle should have stopped the shot. Felippe Aguiar received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Luís Almeida came out and tried to block the shot, but Felippe Aguiar slotted it home off the left post making it 2-2 in the 94th minute. Hélio Seco fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 98th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rogério Valle having to interfere. When the referee blew the final whistle, you could see the dissatisfaction in the Aldeia players' eyes. They were disappointed they hadn't taken more from the game.
