The Castelandia fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Adrianinho Vieira should have stopped the shot. Edson de Souza received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 34th minute. André Luís Urbano tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Castelandia's Adrianinho Vieira played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Roger Vidal in the 40th minute of play. Roger Macedo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 45th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.

52 minutes into the match, Roger Vidal had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Adrianinho Vieira. Castelandia's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Roger Vidal was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. After having played for 57 minutes, Fabrício Mota managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ione's supporters crossed their fingers, but Fabrício Mota was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Castelandia's zone, Fabrício Mota stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Adrianinho Vieira came out of the goal and Fabrício Mota tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 63rd minute, Fabrício Mota managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ione's supporters rose to their feet, but Fabrício Mota was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Adrianinho Vieira breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 67 minutes into the match, Castelandia's goal looked a bit too open when Arthur Galvão came free, but Adrianinho Vieira reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Adrianinho Vieira made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fabrício Mota in the 69th minute of play. Roger Macedo hit a great freekick 71 minutes into the match. 74 minutes into the match, Fabrício Mota had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Adrianinho Vieira. Adrianinho Vieira showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Roger Macedo in the 95th minute of the match. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Ione fully deserved thier win.
