Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Caldato's Erik de Moraes started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Vânderson Barreto's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Nelsinho Montenegro read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 4th minute of play. Juventus Football Club's Nelsinho Montenegro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Erik de Moraes in the 8th minute of play. 14 minutes into the match, Juventus Football Club's goalkeeper Nelsinho Montenegro had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Vânderson Barreto. Erik de Moraes did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 1-0 to the left of a surprised Nelsinho Montenegro 16 minutes into the match. In the 20th match minute, Juventus Football Club was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dida Zilles to maneuver through the defense. Nelsinho Montenegro stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Erik de Moraes's shot from short distance in the 23rd minute. After 27 played minutes Caldato got a freekick which was hit by Ronaldinho de Amaral. An unexpectedly hard shot by Moisés Liman in the 30th minute of play forced Caldato's goalkeeper Zé Carlos Penha to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, Caldato's Erasmo Cabral got a free kick in the 31st minute. Nelsinho Montenegro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Erik de Moraes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Erik de Moraes received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Nelsinho Montenegro came out and tried to block the shot, but Erik de Moraes slotted it home off the left post making it 2-0 in the 34th minute. Erasmo Cabral sent away a hard shot on goal in the 40th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Zé Carlos Penha made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Moisés Liman in the 42nd minute of play. In the 44th minute of the match Edvaldo Tinoco shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Nelsinho Montenegro showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. In the 45th match minute, Juventus Football Club was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Emílio Dantas to maneuver through the defense. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

57 minutes into the match, Virgílio Cearense had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Zé Carlos Penha. Caldato's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Virgílio Cearense was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-1. Geoffrey Van Gheel recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 61st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 63rd minute Germano Zanette shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Zé Carlos Penha saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 65 minutes in the game, Moisés Liman fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Zé Carlos Penha having to interfere. After 67 minutes, Kristiyan Luchev mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Juventus Football Club and the Caldato players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 67 played minutes Juventus Football Club got a freekick which was hit by Kristiyan Luchev. Moisés Liman sent away a hard shot on goal in the 73rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of Caldato booed when Juventus Football Club was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 74 match minutes in a wonderful position. Geoffrey Van Gheel didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 77th minute, Leonel Gerber hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Vânderson Barreto had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 80th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 82 minutes into the match, Juventus Football Club's goal looked a bit too open when Erik de Moraes came free, but Nelsinho Montenegro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Vânderson Barreto sent away a hard shot on goal in the 87th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Juventus Football Club's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
