Abelardo Paiva tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Jacaraipe's Dedé Botelho proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 19th minute of the match, managed to save Jacaraipe from getting a goal against them. Silas Amorim sent away a hard shot on goal in the 22nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Edgar Santos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a little luck, Jacaraipe's Dedé Botelho got control of the ball when Gabriel das Neves tried to sneak it across the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet as Gabriel das Neves kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Dedé Botelho. That made the score 1-0 in the 28 minute of play. After 33 played minutes Jacaraipe got a freekick which was hit by Enio Moura. Décio Teles fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dedé Botelho having to interfere. A collision led to Jacaraipe getting a freekick after 48 minutes play. Pedro Luís Fontes hit a great ball. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

The wind increased when Gabriel das Neves made the kick off in the second half. Pedro Augusto Furlan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Abelardo Paiva having to interfere. Pedro Luís Fontes hit a great freekick 61 minutes into the match. The supporters of Black Special Dragons™ booed when Jacaraipe was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 65 match minutes in a wonderful position. Pedro Augusto Furlan didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Valdo Teles had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 77th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Duda Corrêa kicked well hit freekick during the 81st minute of the match. Décio Teles might have been able to make a better finish in the 85th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Dedé Botelho. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Décio Teles ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 88th minute the ball was on its way in behind Black Special Dragons™'s goalkeeper Abelardo Paiva, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 90 minutes into the match, Jacaraipe's goal looked a bit too open when Gabriel das Neves came free, but Dedé Botelho reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Black Special Dragons™ had won after a very even match.
