In the 3rdth minute of the game Rodriguinho Porto who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Jacaraipe's Dedé Botelho was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The supporters of Jacaraipe booed when Los Angeles Galaxy RS was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 4 match minutes in a wonderful position. Víktor Valadares didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 7th match minute, Jacaraipe was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Enio Moura to maneuver through the defense. Los Angeles Galaxy RS's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Oleg Aleksandrov in the 9th minute. Edgar Santos received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Reynaldo Correia came out and tried to block the shot, but Edgar Santos slotted it home off the left post making it 1-1 in the 14th minute. A hard shot by Breno Gaúcho from long distance, 16 minutes into the match, got Reynaldo Correia's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. Reynaldo Correia showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Edgar Santos, who was totally free with the ball in the 26th minute. Reynaldo Correia made an important save on a dangerous shot by Pedro Augusto Furlan in the 30th minute. 31 minutes into the game, one of Jacaraipe:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. After some fancy dribbling in the 40th minute, Angelo Teles managed to get in a good position for a shot. Los Angeles Galaxy RS's supporters rose to their feet, but Angelo Teles was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Dedé Botelho breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Rodriguinho Porto struck a weak shot in the 41st minute. Dedé Botelho didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Los Angeles Galaxy RS. Dedé Botelho showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rodriguinho Porto in the 43rd minute of the match. Jacaraipe's Dedé Botelho played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rodriguinho Porto in the 45th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Angelo Teles in the 46th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Dedé Botelho saved Jacaraipe from getting behind. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The wind increased when Rodriguinho Porto made the kick off in the second half. Angelo Teles sent away a hard shot on goal in the 56th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Enio Moura was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 57 minutes had been played. After 58 played minutes Jacaraipe got a freekick which was hit by Enio Moura. In the 59th minute Rodriguinho Porto shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dedé Botelho saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, Jacaraipe's Pedro Augusto Furlan got a free kick in the 60th minute. Rodriguinho Porto received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 61st minute. Dedé Botelho tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Angelo Teles had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Dedé Botelho took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Murillo Maciel, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Angelo Teles fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 78th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dedé Botelho having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Jacaraipe's zone, Rodriguinho Porto stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Dedé Botelho came out of the goal and Rodriguinho Porto tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Pedro Augusto Furlan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 86th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Angelo Teless short, quick shot in the 88thth minute got Dedé Botelho to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. The audience was convinced that Rodriguinho Porto's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Dedé Botelho was relentless in the 89th minute of the game. When the match was over Los Angeles Galaxy RS could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Jacaraipe throughout the match.
