When Valdir Mazza came up free with the goalie in the 8th minute, the Time da Xuxa fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Valdir Mazza couldn't finish the play. If Ronaldo Trancoso had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 10th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 14th minute, Gil Ferreira got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Ronaldo Trancoso's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Iuri Munhoz read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 21st minute of play. The supporters of Iaripo booed when Time da Xuxa was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 22 match minutes in a wonderful position. Valdir Mazza didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 27th minute Léo Soares shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Iuri Munhoz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Iuri Munhoz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ronaldo Trancoso, who was totally free with the ball in the 29th minute. Time da Xuxa's Iuri Munhoz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ronaldo Trancoso in the 35th minute of play. In the 35th minute, Germano Veiga hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Iuri Munhoz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ronaldo Trancoso, who was totally free with the ball in the 41st minute. After a rather tough play, Time da Xuxa's Vânderson de Carvalho got a free kick in the 41st minute. Ronaldo Trancoso struck a weak shot in the 44th minute. Iuri Munhoz didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Iaripo. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The wind increased when Silvinho Rezende made the kick off in the second half. Geovanni Vides took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gil Ferreira, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Geovanni Vides made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gil Ferreira in the 53rd minute of play. 55 minutes into the game, João Adolfo Palmeira was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Iaripo's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Time da Xuxa the free kick. A collision led to Iaripo getting a freekick after 55 minutes play. João Adolfo Palmeira hit a great ball. 57 minutes into the match, Time da Xuxa's Silvinho Rezende sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Geovanni Vides narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Geovanni Vides showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Silvinho Rezende, who was totally free with the ball in the 61st minute. In the 67th minute, Ronaldo Trancoso hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Geovanni Vides came out of the goal in the 69th minute to try and stop a shot by Time da Xuxa's Gil Ferreira. But to his dismay, Gil Ferreira quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. 74 minutes into the match, Gil Ferreira had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Geovanni Vides. Iaripo's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Gil Ferreira was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. Ronaldo Trancoso received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 77th minute. Iuri Munhoz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Iuri Munhoz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ronaldo Trancoso, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 80 minutes into the game, Ronaldo Trancoso cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-1. Iuri Munhoz was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. With a little luck, Time da Xuxa's Iuri Munhoz got control of the ball when Léo Soares tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 86th minute, Valdir Mazza hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 87th minute, Léo Soares got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 91st minute, Ronaldo Trancoso managed to get in a good position for a shot. Iaripo's supporters rose to their feet, but Ronaldo Trancoso was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Iuri Munhoz breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Time da Xuxa's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
