Geovanni Lara fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 2nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Geovanni Vides having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Geovanni Lara in the 4th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Geovanni Vides prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Elias Pirani struck a weak shot in the 6th minute. Geovanni Vides didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for XVII de Agosto F.C. In the 7th minute Geovanni Lara shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Geovanni Vides saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Elias Pirani sent away a hard shot on goal in the 10th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a defensive mix-up in Iaripo's zone, Elias Pirani stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Geovanni Vides came out of the goal and Elias Pirani tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Elias Pirani sent away a hard shot on goal in the 21st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Geovanni Lara fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Geovanni Vides having to interfere. Elias Pirani hit a great freekick 26 minutes into the match. Geovanni Vides showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Elias Pirani in the 28th minute of the match. XVII de Agosto F.C's Gugu Souza played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ronaldo Trancoso in the 32nd minute of play. 36 minutes into the match, Iaripo's goal looked a bit too open when Elias Pirani came free, but Geovanni Vides reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Elias Pirani in the 43rd minute of play forced Iaripo's goalkeeper Geovanni Vides to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.
An unexpectedly hard shot by Ronaldo Trancoso in the 55th minute of play forced XVII de Agosto F.C's goalkeeper Gugu Souza to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Léo Soares received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 57th minute. Gugu Souza tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 61 minutes into the game, Iaripo's Ronaldo Trancoso nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Gugu Souza made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. After 65 played minutes Geovanni Lara rounded Iaripo's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 1-1. In the 71stth minute of the game Geovanni Lara who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Iaripo's Geovanni Vides was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. A well placed Geovanni Lara short distance shot in the 72nd minute ended with a hard ball which without a chance for the goalkeeper went staright up into the goalkeepers left cross. Elias Pirani fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 76th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Geovanni Vides having to interfere. The crowd rose to their feet as XVII de Agosto F.C's Geovanni Lara slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Geovanni Vides. That made the score 1-3 after 83 minutes of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Elias Pirani got free with Geovanni Vides in the 86th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Elias Pirani could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 88th minute of the match, but Geovanni Vides made a huge save. The crowd rose to their feet as Geovanni Lara kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Geovanni Vides. That made the score 1-4 in the 89 minute of play. If Léo Soares had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. XVII de Agosto F.C played a much better game than Iaripo and deserved their victory. The Iaripo players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
