Spectators: 7255 (Terracing: 5443, Seating: 1668, VIP seats: 144) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Tonhão Martinez got the match started through his kick off. Tony Martinez came out of the goal in the 5th minute to try and stop a shot by SE Estrela RO's Rodrigo Rossi. But to his dismay, Rodrigo Rossi quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. After a defensive mix-up in SE Estrela RO's zone, Juvenal Breckenfeld stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Juarês Albuquerque came out of the goal and Juvenal Breckenfeld tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Rodrigo Rossi fell near the penalty area in the 12th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored SE Estrela RO's protests and gave Rodrigo Rossi a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Buritama FC booed when SE Estrela RO was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 12 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rodrigo Rossi didn't get a good kick on the ball. Jano Matorin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 16th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Juarês Albuquerque having to interfere. 18 minutes into the game, Josué Baiano was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. SE Estrela RO's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Buritama FC the free kick. In the 19th match minute, SE Estrela RO was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Josué Baiano to maneuver through the defense. Juarês Albuquerque came out of the goal in the 20th minute to try and stop a shot by Buritama FC's Jano Matorin. But to his dismay, Jano Matorin quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. Rodrigo Rossi struck a weak shot in the 26th minute. Tony Martinez didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for SE Estrela RO. After a rather tough play, Buritama FC's Alexandre Ribeiro got a free kick in the 27th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nando Botelho in the 28th minute of play forced Buritama FC's goalkeeper Tony Martinez to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to Buritama FC getting a freekick after 29 minutes play. Tonhão Martinez hit a great ball. The supporters of Buritama FC booed when SE Estrela RO was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 32 match minutes in a wonderful position. Pedro Augusto Leão didn't get a good kick on the ball. Jano Matorin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 33rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A hard shot 39 in the game by Juvenal Breckenfeld from a close distance when the talented Juarês Albuquerque managed to make a qualified save. SE Estrela RO's players were relieved. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Abelardo Dias during the 42nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. 44 minutes into the match, SE Estrela RO's goalkeeper Juarês Albuquerque had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Juvenal Breckenfeld. SE Estrela RO's Pedro Augusto Leão got his second yellow card of the match in the 46th minute. The referee ordered Pedro Augusto Leão off the ground. In the 47th minute, Pedro Augusto Leão hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Rodrigo Rossi stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Juarês Albuquerque showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jano Matorin in the 56th minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 70th minute, Jano Matorin managed to get in a good position for a shot. Buritama FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Jano Matorin was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Juarês Albuquerque breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Juvenal Breckenfeld might have been able to make a better finish in the 72nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Juarês Albuquerque. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Juvenal Breckenfeld ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 74thth minute of the game Tonhão Martinez who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but SE Estrela RO's Juarês Albuquerque was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 76th minute Juvenal Breckenfeld shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Juarês Albuquerque saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Juarês Albuquerque took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tonhão Martinez, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 79 minutes into the game, Maurício Lopez was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Jano Matorin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 91st minute. Juarês Albuquerque tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Juarês Albuquerque showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Juvenal Breckenfeld, who was totally free with the ball in the 93rd minute. The audience was convinced that Rodrigo Rossi's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Tony Martinez was relentless in the 95th minute of the game. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Tonhão Martinez in the 96th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Juarês Albuquerque saved SE Estrela RO from getting behind. Maurício Lopez was shown his second yellow card after 97 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. The supporters of Buritama FC booed when SE Estrela RO was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 97 match minutes in a wonderful position. Maurício Lopez didn't get a good kick on the ball. Tonhão Martinez fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 99th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Juarês Albuquerque having to interfere. SE Estrela RO succeeded in salvaging a draw, even though Buritama FC had controlled the match.
