In the 4th minute, one of Coimelemong:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Coimelemong. The goalkeeper, Jânio Baiano, was totally fooled by Vauzinho's Aníbal Vander, who 5 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. Cássio de Alcântara kicked well hit freekick during the 14th minute of the match. The audience was convinced that Jonas Trancoso's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Yuri Moraes was relentless in the 18th minute of the game. In the 24th minute Hermínio Reis shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jânio Baiano saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Yuri Moraes showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Claudinei Oliveira, who was totally free with the ball in the 29th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jonas Trancoso in the 32nd minute of play forced Vauzinho's goalkeeper Yuri Moraes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Dagoberto Pires fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jânio Baiano having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Hermínio Reis in the 53rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jânio Baiano prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 56th minute, Jonas Trancoso reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Yuri Moraes. The goal made the score 1-1. Allan Sarmento's late challenge caught a Coimelemong's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Allan Sarmento helped the player get up and apologised. In the 62nd minute, Allan Sarmento hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Dagoberto Pires fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 71st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jânio Baiano having to interfere. Yuri Moraes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jonas Trancoso, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Claudinei Oliveira struck a weak shot in the 78th minute. Yuri Moraes didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Coimelemong. After a defensive mix-up in Vauzinho's zone, Jonas Trancoso stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Yuri Moraes came out of the goal and Jonas Trancoso tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. A collision led to Coimelemong getting a freekick after 83 minutes play. Sílvio Rezende hit a great ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Claudinei Oliveira got free with Yuri Moraes in the 86th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Giovani Novaes kicked well hit freekick during the 86th minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Jonas Trancoso in the 87th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Yuri Moraes saved Vauzinho from getting behind. When Dagoberto Pires came up free with the goalie in the 90th minute, the Vauzinho fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Dagoberto Pires couldn't finish the play. Claudinei Oliveira who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 94thth minute tested the skills of Yuri Moraes when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Claudinei Oliveira received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 95th minute. Yuri Moraes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.
