Spectators: 7274 (Terracing: 5457, Seating: 1673, VIP seats: 144) Ijuhy's Zézinho Neves started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. If Paulo José Botelho had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 7th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Eduardo Tresselt didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Zézinho Neves went, in the 9th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. Flumed FC's Marcinho Mendes got a good chance for a goal in the 12th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Eduardo Tresselt took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Zézinho Neves, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Felippe Passos took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 21st minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Eduardo Tresselt. Flumed FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Paulo José Botelho struck a weak shot in the 22nd minute. Eduardo Tresselt didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ijuhy. In the 26th minute, Vicente Vieira got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Ijuhy's Zézinho Neves got a good chance for a goal in the 27th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Oséias Cunha kicked well hit freekick during the 28th minute of the match. The audience cheered when Flavinho Hermes's long shot passed Eduardo Tresselt's right side. It was 0-3, 29 minutes into the match. Marcinho Mendes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 33rd minute. Frédson Cardozo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Eduardo Tresselt showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Paulo José Botelho in the 37th minute of the match. Zézinho Neves took the ball and in the 39 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Eduardo Tresselt. Eduardo Tresselt dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-4. When Ijuhy's Zézinho Neves in the 44th minute got a chance for a shot 44th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Flumed FC's goalie prevented a goal. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-4 lead.

Hamílton Sarmento's late challenge caught a Flumed FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Hamílton Sarmento helped the player get up and apologised. Hamílton Sarmento kicked well hit freekick during the 51st minute of the match. When Oséias Cunha fell near the penalty area in the 53rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Flumed FC's protests and gave Oséias Cunha a yellow card for diving instead. After 53 played minutes Flumed FC got a freekick which was hit by Oséias Cunha. After 63 minutes, Sidney Peixoto mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Flumed FC and the Ijuhy players grew even worse after the yellow card. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 62nd minute of the game. One of Flumed FC:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Ijuhy:s goal. The referee gave Ijuhy a penalty, 64 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Flavinho Hermes, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Flumed FC's Eduardo Tresselt. 0-6. Felippe Passos hit a great freekick 70 minutes into the match. In the 73rd match minute, Ijuhy was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Zézinho Neves to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Marcinho Mendes in the 75th minute of play forced Ijuhy's goalkeeper Frédson Cardozo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After having played for 79 minutes, Vicente Vieira managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Flumed FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Vicente Vieira was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Zézinho Neves recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 81st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 83 minutes into the match, Flumed FC's goalkeeper Eduardo Tresselt had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Paulo José Botelho. Eduardo Tresselt stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Zézinho Neves's shot from short distance in the 84th minute. In the 88th minute, Zézinho Neves ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Eduardo Tresselt was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-7. After a defensive mix-up in Ijuhy's zone, Marcinho Mendes stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Frédson Cardozo came out of the goal and Marcinho Mendes tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Frédson Cardozo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marcinho Mendes in the 96th minute of play. Vicente Vieira took the ball and in the 100 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Frédson Cardozo. Frédson Cardozo dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-7. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Ijuhy walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
