Martelandia's Edmílson Leão proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 7th minute of the match, managed to save Martelandia from getting a goal against them. In the 9th minute the ball was on its way in behind Martelandia's goalkeeper Edmílson Leão, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Aílton Koehler received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 11th minute. Ernesto Sol tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Claudio Artizar fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Edmílson Leão having to interfere. Martelandia's Edmílson Leão played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ismael Guerra in the 19th minute of play. Edmílson Leão made a fantastic save in the 26th minute, when Claudio Artizar sent off a good shot on target. Christian Faria kicked well hit freekick during the 27th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Martelandia's Christian Faria got a free kick in the 28th minute. Martelandia's Edmílson Leão proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 29th minute of the match, managed to save Martelandia from getting a goal against them. In the 31st minute, Christian Faria hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In a very dangerous position, a player in Martelandia fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 32nd minute. Penalty! Ismael Guerra fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Edmílson Leão having to interfere. With his leg Edmílson Leão managed to avoid a goal in the 39thth minute, when E.C Ribeiro Junqueira's Jeremias Severo fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. After some fancy dribbling in the 44th minute, Ismael Guerra managed to get in a good position for a shot. E.C Ribeiro Junqueira's supporters rose to their feet, but Ismael Guerra was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Edmílson Leão breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 46th match minute, Martelandia was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Christian Faria to maneuver through the defense. An unexpected shot in the 48th minute by Claudio Artizar got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Christian Faria to strike the kick off in the second half. 52 minutes into the match, Martelandia's goal looked a bit too open when Ismael Guerra came free, but Edmílson Leão reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Edmílson Leão made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jeremias Severo in the 53rd minute of play. Ismael Guerra sent away a hard shot on goal in the 58th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a defensive mix-up in Martelandia's zone, Claudio Artizar stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Edmílson Leão came out of the goal and Claudio Artizar tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After some careless play in the Martelandia defense, Ismael Guerra kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Edmílson Leão. The Martelandia fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Edmílson Leão should have stopped the shot. Teodoro de Moraes thought of kicking away a contribution in front of goal but messed it up so badly that the ball went to the right of an astonished Edmílson Leão, a very annoying self made goal in the 65th minute which led to 5-0. If Claudio Artizar had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 69th minute, Ismael Guerra made a precise shot to the right of Edmílson Leão. Martelandia's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 6-0. Ismael Guerra received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 72nd minute. Edmílson Leão tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 75th minute, Claudio Artizar left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The E.C Ribeiro Junqueira fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 7-0. After some fancy dribbling in the 84th minute, Claudio Artizar managed to get in a good position for a shot. With a left leg Edmílson Leão saved Martelandia from getting behind. Ismael Guerra fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Edmílson Leão having to interfere. When Ismael Guerra came up free with the goalie in the 90th minute, the E.C Ribeiro Junqueira fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ismael Guerra couldn't finish the play. Claudio Artizar fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Edmílson Leão having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ismael Guerra in the 96th minute of play forced Martelandia's goalkeeper Edmílson Leão to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
