Spectators: 6978 (Terracing: 5152, Seating: 1681, VIP seats: 145) Sabugueiro's João Francisco Tróia started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Moisés Vander fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 5th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fernandão de Castro having to interfere. 7 minutes into the match, Sabugueiro's João Francisco Tróia sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Ulisses Amaral narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After a rather tough play, Irakeanos's Bernardinho Pernambucano got a free kick in the 8th minute. Irakeanos's Rafinha Varela shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 13th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Fernandão de Castro but with some difficulty. If Deivid Cardozo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Luís Fernando Sá tried in the 26th minute to hit away a contribution but miss-kicked the ball which ended up in his own goal and left an unhappy Fernandão de Castro a with quite unnecessary self made goal. Result 1-0. Moisés Vander fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fernandão de Castro having to interfere. 31 minutes into the game, Sabugueiro's Deivid Cardozo nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Ulisses Amaral made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. If Deivid Cardozo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Moisés Vander received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 36th minute. Fernandão de Castro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ulisses Amaral came out of the goal in the 42nd minute to try and stop a shot by Sabugueiro's Deivid Cardozo. But to his dismay, Deivid Cardozo quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2.

Irakeanos's defense didn't have a chance, in the 52nd minute, when João Francisco Tróia scored to the left of an out of position Ulisses Amaral, making the score, 1-3. When João Pedro Castro came up free with the goalie in the 61st minute, the Sabugueiro fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that João Pedro Castro couldn't finish the play. After some fancy dribbling in the 62nd minute, Deivid Cardozo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Sabugueiro's supporters rose to their feet, but Deivid Cardozo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ulisses Amaral breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 64 minutes into the match, Sabugueiro's goal looked a bit too open when Moisés Vander came free, but Fernandão de Castro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Sabugueiro's zone, Moisés Vander stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Fernandão de Castro came out of the goal and Moisés Vander tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 72nd minute, Lúcio Severo ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Fernandão de Castro was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-3. Ulisses Amaral showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from João Francisco Tróia, who was totally free with the ball in the 76th minute. After a rather tough play, Sabugueiro's José Paulo Sarmento got a free kick in the 79th minute. Ulisses Amaral showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from João Francisco Tróia in the 83rd minute of the match. Moisés Vander received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 85th minute. Fernandão de Castro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Rodriguinho Guimarães hit a great freekick 86 minutes into the match. The audience was convinced that Moisés Vander's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Fernandão de Castro was relentless in the 88th minute of the game. When the final whistle went the supporters of Sabugueiro were delighted that their team had defeated the much more dominant Irakeanos side.
