The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Echapora's Miguel Proença played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ramón Koehler in the 4th minute of play. Miguel Proença showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Natanael Netto, who was totally free with the ball in the 5th minute. Vágner Valle came free with the goalkeeper in the 7th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and 陶斌冰 could save by the left post. In the 10th match minute, SANTORINI was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Manoel Pinheiro to maneuver through the defense. 18 minutes into the game, Reginaldo Cavalcante was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. SANTORINI's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Echapora the free kick. After 18 played minutes SANTORINI got a freekick which was hit by Reginaldo Cavalcante. Miguel Proença showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Natanael Netto, who was totally free with the ball in the 21st minute. Manoel Pinheiro recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 28th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 31st minute, Natanael Netto managed to get in a good position for a shot. SANTORINI's supporters rose to their feet, but Natanael Netto was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Miguel Proença breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Natanael Netto in the 41st minute of play forced Echapora's goalkeeper Miguel Proença to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 43 minutes into the match, Echapora's goal looked a bit too open when Natanael Netto came free, but Miguel Proença reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 45thth minute of the game Manoel Pinheiro who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Echapora's Miguel Proença was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Natanael Netto struck a weak shot in the 47th minute. Miguel Proença didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for SANTORINI. Miguel Proença made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Natanael Netto in the 48th minute of play.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Natanael Netto to make the kick off. When Ramón Koehler came up free with the goalie in the 60th minute, the SANTORINI fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ramón Koehler couldn't finish the play. Miguel Proença showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Natanael Netto in the 64th minute of the match. Echapora's Vágner Valle got a good chance for a goal in the 68th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Reginaldo Cavalcante hit a great freekick 69 minutes into the match. Manoel Pinheiro in the 74thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Miguel Proença, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. If Manoel Pinheiro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 82nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Miguel Proença didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Manoel Pinheiro went, in the 87th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. Manoel Pinheiro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Miguel Proença having to interfere. In the 97th minute, Natanael Netto got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. SANTORINI's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
