Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Ramiro Paulista made the kick off and thus started the match. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Alfredo Marquez couldn't finish the play. Ademir Maciel recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 8th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Raí Dionísio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alfredo Marquez in the 11th minute of the match. Raí Dionísio didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from João Francisco de Alcântara went, in the 13th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. The supporters of Nazareth AD booed when Eliel United F.C was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 18 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gilberto Dantas didn't get a good kick on the ball. Joélson Baptista hit a great freekick 20 minutes into the match. Raí Dionísio came out of the goal in the 21st minute to try and stop a shot by Nazareth AD's João Francisco de Alcântara. But to his dismay, João Francisco de Alcântara quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ramiro Paulista in the 29th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Júlio França prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Raí Dionísio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alfredo Marquez in the 33rd minute of the match. In the 38th minute the ball was on its way in behind Nazareth AD's goalkeeper Júlio França, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Nazareth AD's defense didn't have a chance, in the 39th minute, when Isaltino Figueiredo scored to the left of an out of position Júlio França, making the score, 1-2. An unexpectedly hard shot by João Francisco de Alcântara in the 45th minute of play forced Eliel United F.C's goalkeeper Raí Dionísio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. João Francisco de Alcântara sent away a hard shot on goal in the 47th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-2.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and João Francisco de Alcântara made a kick off. Alfredo Marquez in the 57thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Raí Dionísio, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Raí Dionísio stood somewhat misplaced when João Francisco de Alcântara came free in front of goal and shot 1-3 to the left of him in the 69 minute. Joélson Baptista hit a great freekick 79 minutes into the match. After recieving a nice pass, Nazareth AD's Zé Pedro Nogueira tried to score from far away in the 80th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. João Francisco de Alcântara received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 82nd minute. Raí Dionísio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Alfredo Marquez got free with Raí Dionísio in the 88th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Raí Dionísio was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but João Francisco de Alcântara showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-5 in the 90 minute of play. If Alfredo Marquez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
