The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

In the 70th minute, one of Yuri Sport Club:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Yuri Sport Club. In the 73rd minute, Nhambiquaras FC got a penalty, and João Vítor Moreira placed the ball unsaveable into goal, by the right post. Murillo Amorim struck a weak shot in the 77th minute. Adhemar Goiano didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Nhambiquaras FC. Hernani Negri took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 79th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Adhemar Goiano. Yuri Sport Club's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. When the match was over Nhambiquaras FC could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Yuri Sport Club throughout the match.
