Luiz Quirino was out of position in the 9 minute of play, and Celso Cruz capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Celso Cruz really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0. Jairo Abreu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 15th minute. Luiz Quirino tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 17th minute, Celso Cruz managed to get in a good position for a shot. Porangatu SC's supporters rose to their feet, but Celso Cruz was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Luiz Quirino breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Celso Cruz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 19th minute. Luiz Quirino tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Pedro Pena kicked well hit freekick during the 20th minute of the match. Celso Cruz's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. After a defensive mix-up in Chambica FC's zone, Celso Cruz stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Luiz Quirino came out of the goal and Celso Cruz tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Pedro Pena came up free with the goalie in the 36th minute, the Porangatu SC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Pedro Pena couldn't finish the play. Jairo Abreu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Luiz Quirino having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 40th minute, Celso Cruz managed to get in a good position for a shot. Gerson Medeiros charged in rather forcefully in the 41st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Gerson Medeiros the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 43rd minute, Celso Cruz got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Celso Cruz was the one to do the kick off. The supporters of Chambica FC booed when Porangatu SC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 52 match minutes in a wonderful position. Pedro Pena didn't get a good kick on the ball. Luiz Quirino didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Celso Cruz went, in the 58th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-0 was the resulting score. After a rather tough play, Porangatu SC's Silas Gaspar got a free kick in the 61st minute. 67 minutes into the match, Porangatu SC's Silas Gaspar sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Luiz Quirino narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Celso Cruz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 68th minute. Luiz Quirino tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 77th minute Celso Cruz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Luiz Quirino saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Porangatu SC's Pedro Pena got a good chance for a goal in the 79th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 81stth minute of the game Celso Cruz who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Chambica FC's Luiz Quirino was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Léo Peres hit a great freekick 84 minutes into the match. In the 85th minute Celso Cruz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Luiz Quirino saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
